Jade
Green, white, lavender, yellow, or mottled with a waxy polish. Jade is associated with Myanmar, China, Guatemala, and Canada, and its natural character gives it a classic, serene, and culturally rich presence. Traditionally linked with abundance, balance, peace, and strength, it feels more like a small object with a story than a simple color stone.
The English word jade comes through Spanish piedra de ijada, “stone of the flank,” while in East Asia jade developed a deep cultural language of virtue, status, and craftsmanship.
